How to Customize Your Phone Buttons in the TeleGo User Portal
You can easily customize and update your phone button settings in the TeleGo User Portal.

1. Log into the TeleGo portal and click on the Phone System icon. You can find this either on the homepage or on the main menu on the left.
2. Once you're in the Phone System section of the portal, make sure you're on the Extension page.
On the Extensions page, click on the extension whose button's you'd like to update.
You should now be on the Extension Details page for that extension. Scroll down the the bottom of that page until you see the Buttons Settings section. Click the Edit button next to the phone whose buttons you'd like to edit. Some extensions my have more than one phone assigned.
3. From here you should see a window where you can update and customize your buttons. There will be a graphic with your phone's button display on the left, and a numbered list representing each of your buttons on the right. (Note that while we have graphics for most of our phones, some users will not see a graphic on the left. Those users can still edit their buttons from the numbered button list on the right).
Click the button that you'd like to edit. If you click the button on the graphic, the corresponding button will expand on the list to the right. This is where you will make your edits.
You can also click directly on a button number from the list to the right.
4. Once you click on a button you must select from a list of Types from the menu. If you are unsure what any of these Types mean, select the type, then hover over the info icon next to the word Type. There will be description of the type that you have selected.

5. Any button Type you select will have a required field that you must enter to finish customizing that button. Each field may differ depending on the button type that you select. Enter the required field.
You can choose to keep Label field as the giving default text, or you can customize it by simply deleted the default text and entering your own.
6. If your phone has multiple pages for buttons, click the arrows at the top of the page to scroll through each page.
7. You can save your progress at any time by clicking the Save button on the bottom right of the window. This will send your current settings to your phone. If you don't want to save your progress, click the Close button, and the edit buttons window will close.
8. If you'd like to erase all of your button settings click Clear All. This will erase all of your buttons settings, so please be sure before clicking YES. There is no way to retrieve cleared button settings.
